Great Beginner Set

This is my first kit of picks and I am very pleased so far especially for the price! I had fashioned some of my own using wiper inserts but having actual picks and tension wrenches is a big upgrade and I'm finally advancing past the locks I've been stuck on. My only change would be for another thinner tension wrench instead of a second thicker one. Thank you for the quick service and product!

Good kit

Very good beginner set remember this isn’t about brute strenght there’s some finesse involved. Feel the pins click feel how they set or over sets the movements are small. It’s been therapeutic for as a Paramedic for 27 to be able to spend time on lock picking and not on the terrible pandemic or buildings collapsing near me. We lost two of our medical professional in that building. This new hobby has helped me clear my mind.rn

Pretty great entry-level set

This was my first set of picks, and I'm very happy with what I got, especially for the price. They include a really nice mix of picks and rakes, and a good little spread of tension tools. Mostly just a couple L-wrenches and a twisted L, but it's fine to get going on simple stuff.rnrnI only have 2 complaints:rn1. I was glad I made some of my own tension tools prior to ordering (by way of passing the time until they arrived, lol) because for really small narrow keyways, you're going to want smaller and thinner tools than the tensioners included, andrn2. The grips, while really nice, require hand tools to get onto the dang picks. At least in my set, the grips were just a hair too narrow to get on by hand, and i ended up using some pliers.rnrnThat said, though, I've been having a blast with these. If you're looking to get started in locksport, you really can't go wrong with this set to get you going on a variety of locks.

Good set sans the rubber handles.

This is a good item, the picks are strong and work well. My complaints are that the rubber for the handle is hard to put on, like horrible. Also I don't see why they even included them because you need to feel the pick when its dancing on those pins. Would have also liked to see different sized tension bars also as they are all the same thickness.rnrnOther than that it's a solid set of lockpicks that don't bend easily and without the rubber handles you can feel every thing.

The items I received have been great however the link for ebook that came with the lock pick set is not working and I am unable to read it.

Good quality starter set

These are much better than my first set from China. The slide on sleeves make them comfortable and the edges seem finished. A poor set is uncomfortable to hold. A top of keyway tension wrench would make this set complete.
