KLOM Electric Lock Pick Gun Basic User Guide

Lock picking guns were originally designed for use in LE and emergency services, but they are wildly popular in many professional service jobs. They are very fast on the job site and provide another secure option for entry when manual lock picking is not an option. This method of unlocking involves inserting a tensioning tool into the lock. When you flick the pins upwards with the rattling tool, they need to stay slightly above the diagonal. Any time this is done, the lock opens.
Make sure your KLOM EPG is fully charged before you start picking. You will need an adapter suitable for the UK plug, but once the charge is plugged into the gun and power supply, a red light will appear on the charger. The red light will turn green after the device is fully charged, which can take up to five hours, but usually charges faster.
Make sure the U-clip is attached to the swing arm extending from the chuck. This is where the pick gun needle connects to the gun. Picking a gun needle is like picking a regular lock, you'll want to try and error with different locks. You'll soon find your favorites and figure out which ones fit better with different locks. This is purely personal, and you'll learn something as you continue to use the KLOM EPG.
After charging the KLOM EPG, you need to connect the Chuck to the body of the car. Take a closer look at the two sections and you'll see how easily they line up. The chuck is then twisted into place and can be removed using a reverse twisting motion. You can tell when it's correct because each part is flush with the other. If you have problems installing the chuck, adjust the mechanism protruding from the main body to move it to a position that will more easily accept the chuck. It is this mechanism that may cause some problems, but it can easily be overcome in a few seconds.
Make sure the forward/backward button is fully pressed. If you use a pick chuck, it doesn't matter either way because the mechanism works the same way. When using the "drill" collet, only different orientations are used and certain orientations are required. If the button is not pressed completely to the left or right, it will not work.
The adjusting screw at the top of the clip is now your main focus. This screw changes the "swing" of the needle arm, which is the key to successful lock opening with this EPG. Swing too much and you break the needle, too little and it won't open the lock. Try it before inserting the needle into the lock so you can see how much it has moved. To pick a lock, you'll need to make the needle vibrate almost a fraction of a millimeter -- but experience and practice will teach you this and how much to adjust when trying different locks. But don't stick to one setting, try different locks and remember that you have this to help you have more chances when it comes to unlocking. Some require more swing, some less. Turning the screw clockwise will tighten it, which will reduce the swing, and turning it counterclockwise will loosen it, which will create a greater swing.
The KLOM electric pry gun is now ready to pick the lock. As with any lockpicking tool, the KLOM EPG does take practice. The more you use the KLOM EPG, the easier it will be for you to pick the lock quickly. Practice not having a lock that is "in use," because damage, broken pins, etc. can cause the lock to malfunction, and then you will encounter all sorts of problems that you can easily avoid. Used locks can be easily obtained at very cheap prices from online marketplaces and are ideal practice locks for all types of Lock Picking Tools.
