Practice locks are found all around the world, and use a very different method of locking than pin cylinder locks. This clear disc detainer padlock gives you a view of the mechanism as work, whether you're using the key or picks, meaning your knowledge base will increase substantially, rather than learning 'blind'.

It's really good for beginners to lean lock picking, overall is good but the delivery speed is slow

While it is well made, out of the box it had to be modified to even be able to pick a cheap imported lock. Tensioner is too shallow, end is too thick and too long.

Lock has a hard time turning with key

Hey, appreciate the shopping experience, fast shipping and nice looking disk detainer pick, but the lock has a hard time turning with the key , so I'm having a hard time practice disk detainer picking with it.

Good service but took a while

Delivery took a lot longer than expected but the customer service was great. Item is as described. Now I just need to learn to use it.

Good for practice, but oddly fiddly disks

Specifically the disks wabble in a way that better quality locks do not and the picking tip (once narrowed to a reasonable thickness) can slip BETWEEN the disks.
