    Interesting for all

    We received present, every one has been interested in this. Explains a lot about how locks work (little bit of a aha moment)
    Most of the people who have played with it have been able to understand and come to grips with it, with a little explanation. Although the instructions/lack of are not great, so looked up on line first to understand the process. However no one has been willing to try out their learning an actual lock, just in case they end up needing to call an actual locksmith!

    Great bit of kit for learning

    Great starter set. Kids have had lots of fun learning how locks work and have had a lot of success picking real padlocks following a bit of practice.

    works fine

    as a beginner lockpicker i cant say much, as any issue i may have faced could be an issue of my own skill.
    what i will say is that the build quality of most of the things in this set is good for the price. the cases especially are very nice. the lock visibility shields are also made of rubber and are a small bit fragile, so that is something to keep in mind.
     
    i also found the padlock very easy to open with the gold handle double sided rake, though i might have just gotten very lucky with the pin arrangement.

    Good value for money, for learning, not for professional use

    Watched a few YouTube videos, took a minute or two for the padlock the first time and then 5 mins or so for the others doing the first time. Then it becomes very easy. The locks are obviously just for teaching the principles and not very difficult. The set itself is decent enough for learning. I tried a real lock by breaking into my own house with it and managed to get in after about 10 mins
